Paultons Park

A very special magical place I used to take my children to where great fun would be had by all. Paulton’s attractions are laid out over a large area separated by woodlands and lakes, hence making an advert look segmented. Our minds and memories have a great way of bringing good/fun memories together without the distractions, very much in the way we dream. There had to be a way to do this but considering this was back in the early 90’s and way before affordable days of CGI, motion tracking etc, thinking caps were put on.

With the team. We worked out a simple affordable way to bring all the elements of the attraction into one flowing ad where the little mascot owl of Paultons was also brought to life with animation for the first time. I believe this little film still holds up after all these years.

The greatest reward was at the usual nerve racking client viewing session, after seeing the ad once, they asked to see it again (sweating at this time) and at the end of which, they all stood up and applauded, now
that’s what I call reward!
