This young guitarist burst onto the scene few years ago at a blues jam club where he was spotted by Nugene Records who specialise in blues music. He was signed up to the label and within a very short period of time, he was getting noticed globally. His record company needed a way of introducing him to the public and wanted to put on a teaser onto YouTube to back an upcoming global tour. It was advised that besides the music, this teaser should also have small sections of Matt talking about himself and his influences which would be a very effective way of engaging the viewer.
He has a very warm and gentle personality with an incredible talent and filming his whole gig at the famous 100 Club was a sheer joy. Enjoy his performance!
