Fathers of Girls featuring Ray Winstone

, ,

A project made with my drama partner Karl Howman which we wrote and directed together (known as Howman & Cetintas), starring the great actor Ray Winstone in a very unusual role.

It is a small budget movie telling the story of a single father bringing up an only daughter who dies of a drug overdose and how he has to try and understand and come to terms with how this could happen.

The film was premiered at the Empire Leicester Square London. Due to the bust schedule of Ray, the film had to be shot in two working weeks and this was done without any delays.

Multitude of techniques of filming were employed including use of 35mm 2perf film, S16mm and video in order to save time and money and adding creative dimensions to the look of the film.
