Bayeux Tapestry and the date 1066 are two names that conjure up so many images, arguments and myths. It’s one of the historical marvels from the dark ages that very little are known about. But recently various arguments and claims have been made to what the tapestry “actually” means and various sources claim to have deciphered the secret code behind it.
This very plausible and fascinating claim has put a completely new light on this mystery and a full length feature drama/documentary series has been planned. This style would be crucial to give justice to such a story which has the potential of turning the historical facts on their heads and do it without making it like a history lecture. It would have to be entertaining like a feature film whilst imparting factual information. In order to achieve funding for such a project, a “promo/trailer” was produced to give potential backers and TV stations an idea as to the style of the film and how it will look.
This promo was shot in one day, completely on location; it’s a testament to what can be achieved on a small budget with good writing, planning and experience.
